💘 The Easiest Valentine’s Dessert

Happy baking!

Happy Friday, Reader!

If you still need something sweet for your Valentine, I've got you covered!

As the final part of my series for Valentine's Day treats, I'm sharing an easy no-bake dessert you could make for your Valentine or Galentine (if the latter is unfamiliar, Leslie Knope can explain). 💘

Beyond flavor, what I love most about this recipe is that it has just four ingredients. So without further ado — chocolate mascarpone mousse! It's mousse-like in texture but skips some of the more complicated steps to making traditional mousse.

Here, we nix eggs (a common ingredient to add richness to mousse) but use mascarpone to recreate its creaminess. To serve, you scoop the mixture into your prettiest bowls or glasses, and voila!

Below is a quick video showing just how simple it is to pull together. ⬇️

And it only takes about 10 minutes of hands-on time!

💌 I hope you and yours have a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend!

Happy Saturday, Reader. If you’re still figuring out what to bake for Easter tomorrow, I’ve got you. 💛 This past week, I made two versions of one of my all-time favorite spring desserts. First up: this old fashioned carrot cake with pineapple. It's a super soft, classic layer cake that I actually made for my dad’s birthday last weekend. It’s one of those recipes that’s been on repeat in my family for years, and for good reason. The crushed pineapple along with freshly grated carrots keep it...

Happy Thursday, Reader. For spring and Easter baking, I'm making tweaks to some of my existing recipes to dress them up for the season, and I wanted to share two types of cookies with you. 🪺 Up first are my big batch chocolate chip cookies. They're in rotation whenever I need a classic dessert for a crowd. Yielding 40 cookies, it's a good option that's quick to whip up, and any leftovers will freeze well for three months in an airtight container. To theme this recipe with Easter, I swapped in...

Happy Sunday, Reader. Spring has sprung, and with Easter just a week away, here's a fun and timely seasonal bake. Last Monday, I had a blast sharing my Easter bunny sugar cookies on Fox5 DC. These are the cookies I reach for every spring when I want something festive but not too fussy. Plus, they're perfect if you're baking with kids or short on time. Here's why they work so well: No-chill dough so you can decorate and eat these sooner rather than later Buttercream frosting instead of royal...
